Airtightness testing is required upon completion to coincide with the ‘As Built’ SAP/SBEM Calculation & EPC to show compliance with Part F1/F2 of the Building Regulations Northern Ireland. EBSNI are fully qualified to the highest level with iATS (Independent Airtightness Testing Scheme) which allows us to carry out airtightness testing on a wide range of buildings from small domestic to large complex buildings.
Before we attend to complete an Airtightness test, it is vital that the rooms requiring testing are properly prepared in accordance with test standards.
